Why is the Congress being postponed?
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the CSG and WGO have decided to reschedule the GASTRO 2020. The main priority is to ensure safe and pleasant conditions for all participants and sponsors.
When will the rescheduled Congress dates be?
The new date of the GASTRO 2020 will be announced soon.
Will GASTRO 2020 be virtual event?
We are currently trying to make the best decision for all participants, sponsors and exhibitors. Please be patient.
Registration
How can I register to GASTRO 2020?
Unfortunately, registration is not possible at this time. Registration for the GASTRO 2020 is currently stopped.
What about refunds?
All participants will be reimbursed in full (registration fee, accompanying program as well as the accommodation, if ordered via GUARANT International spol. s.r.o.). Please contact our secretariat – gastro2020prague@guarant.cz.
What if I haven't paid for registration yet?
All unpaid registrations will be automatically cancelled.
I am very interested in the GASTRO 2020. When will more information be known?
More information will be available in January 2021.
Accommodation
What about the accommodation?
Accommodation will be cancelled. Refunds will take place no later than in the end of December 2020. Only a handling fee will be charged.
Abstract Submission
Will the deadline for abstract presenters to register be extended?
Yes, abstract submission deadline will be extended. The new date for abstract submission will be announced. The abstract submission form is still available here.
I have already submitted my abstract, do I need to re-submit?
No, your abstract will be automatically rolled over to 2021. If you have not received information about acceptance, it will be reviewed in 2021.
Compliance
